Beacon Completes the First Passive Soil Gas Survey in Costa Rica

BEACON provides passive soil gas services at a petrol station in Costa Rica to identify release locations of petroleum hydrocarbons and define the lateral extent of contamination across the site. The objectives of the survey were to determine if any releases had occurred and, if so, where remediation efforts needed to be focused.  BEACON’s distributor in Costa Rica, EnviroLogek Costa Rica S.A., is working with commercial clients, as well as regulators, to develop cost effective solutions to environmental problems and BEACON’s BeSure Passive Soil Gas Technology is being widely received as an innovative approach for site characterization and a key tool for developing an accurate conceptual site model.
