New Elementary School Construction On Redeveloped Brownfields Site
This site was a former dry cleaner from the 1930s to the 1970s. By the early 1990s, all dry cleaning operations had been removed.
Since 1991, the professionals at Beacon Environmental have supported environmental consultants and managers on thousands of projects for the U.S. EPA, DoD, DoE, state agencies and commercial clients in over 45 states, as well as internationally. During that time, Beacon Environmental has earned an enviable reputation for providing clients with accurate, reproducible data to guide their projects.
The President of the company, Harry O’Neill, and Laboratory Director, Steve Thornley, each bring over 20 years experience to your project – experience in characterizing sites for organic contaminants using innovative soil gas sampling technologies.
Mr. O’Neill has been on the forefront of the acceptance of passive soil gas sampling technologies at the national and international level and has reviewed data from thousands of soil gas surveys. Mr. O’Neill was also the lead author of ASTM Standard D7758-2011, Passive Soil Gas Sampling in the Vadose Zone for Source Identification, Spatial Variability Assessment, Monitoring, and Vapor Intrusion Evaluations. With extensive experience, these expert professionals have perfected the sampling and analytical procedures that provide accurate, reliable, and defensible data.
